Yeshua's Invitation to Discipleship

At the end of what is known as the Sermon on the Mount Yeshua makes an invitation to become his disciples by using a story about two houses that encounter the same conditions but are impacted differently based on the foundation they are built on. He equates their foundation to his teachings. His fundamental question is will we build our lives on the firm foundation of his teachings or live on sand by not adhering to his teachings.
