No Turning Back

This text has been used to say salvation can be lost, however since salvation is a gift that cannot be earned how can it be lost? Salvation is a committed relationship with God through Christ led by the Holy Spirit. This committed relationship is so much more than a confession or statement of faith. Being a disciple is living a surrendered life to the will and plan of God. Disciples are productive; not to earn or maintain salvation but as an expression of love and commitment to God through Christ. Discipleship must be a conscious commitment because there is No Turning Back.
