"What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us."
Core Beliefs
The following are the core beliefs of Blessed Harvest Nation based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.
Scriptures
We believe the Scriptures teach that the Holy Bible was written by people divinely inspired, and is a perfect treasure of heavenly instructions; that it has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth for its contents; that it reveals the principles by which God will judge humankind; and therefore is and will remain until the end of the world, the true center of Christian union, and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and religious opinions should be tried.
God
We believe the Scriptures teach that there is one and only one living and true God, an omnipotent and omnipresent, spiritual, and personal Being, the Creator, Preserver, and Ruler of the universe, infinite in holiness and all other perfection: To whom we owe the highest love, reverence and obedience. He is the creator of all that exists, both visible and invisible, and is therefore worthy of all glory and praise. God is perfect in love, power, holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom, justice, and mercy. He is unchangeable and therefore is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
Yeshua the Christ
Yeshua the Christ is the Lamb of God that died to atone humankind to God the Father, and free all that believe in Him from eternal death. God has revealed himself to us through his son,
Yeshua the Christ, who is the visible image of the invisible God.
Yeshua the Christ, who is the visible image of the invisible God.
Holy Spirit
We believe that the Scriptures teach that Yeshua the Christ promised not to leave the believers comfortless. That a comforter would be sent to keep the believers in the will of the Creator until the fulfillment of the restoration of God’s kingdom. The Holy Spirit is the active agent of God manifested in the world, who comforts, and empowers believers to carry out the ministries of God. God moves in the person of the Holy Spirit with gifts and graces.
The Fall
When Adam and Eve chose not to obey God, they ceased to be what they were made to be and became distorted images of God. This caused them to fall out of fellowship with God, and fractured all of creation ever since that time.
Salvation
Yeshua the Christ came to reconcile us with God. He lived a life without sin and willingly died on the cross to pay the penalty for our transgressions. God raised him from the dead and now, by grace, offers as a free gift eternal life to all who follow Christ, by faith, as their Lord and Savior. That is why salvation can be found in Christ alone. Salvation is evidenced inwardly by a change of heart to accept God’s control of our life. Salvation is evidenced outwardly by public confession of Yeshua the Christ
as Messiah and Savior of humankind.
as Messiah and Savior of humankind.
The Church
We believe the Scriptures teach that The Church is a congregation of baptized believers, associated by covenant in the faith and fellowship of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Being governed by God’s Laws, we exercise the gifts, rights, and privileges invested by the Word to prepare Disciples for the work of ministry that will draw others to seek Christ.
Resurrection
Yeshua the Christ is returning one day to judge both the living and the dead and to usher in the fullness of God's kingdom on earth.
Giving
In our Worship Experience we do not have a special time set aside for collecting offering. We make every effort not to be consumed by money. We do not fund raise. Giving during our worship experience is an opportunity to express our love and appreciation to God for everything He has allowed us to be stewards over. We place a basket near the entrance, if you wish to give just drop it in. We want you to be free to give if you would like. We believe that this offers you an opportunity to give without pressure, cheerfully.
